Highly Affordable in Paris: Le Clos Y Recommended by Michelin

I visited another restaurant, a Japanese-French fusion place called Le Clos Y. It's run by the Japanese chef Yoshitaka Ikeda and is low-key but highly praised by food connoisseurs. ✨Menu Highlights Dinner: The entire menu was a "Menu Surprise." For just 68€, you get a 7-course meal. The value for money is truly exceptional. At the end of the meal, the chef even gave us a complimentary bottle of Japanese sake. (The staff had such a strong French accent that they laughed at themselves when they realized we couldn't understand them. It was so adorable! 🤣) ✨The three appetizers were salmon, sweet shrimp, and a dish commonly found in Michelin-starred restaurants: calf's sweetbreads (ris de veau). I have to mention the sweetbreads. They are a type of gland, and the texture is somewhat similar to brain. I thought they were well-prepared, especially with the accompanying mushroom sauce. However, if you don't like offal, you might find it a bit gamey. So, if you're not a fan of organ meats, you can let the waiter know when ordering. 🌟The two main courses were cod and pigeon. The cod was cooked with incredible skill—fresh, tender, and each piece of fish was translucent and impeccable.
