Highly Recommended Sunset Spot—Cactus Club Cafe
In a nutshell: Great drinks, delicious food, and stunning views! Lately, the weather has been perfect, so we thought, Why not enjoy a romantic sunset dinner? We decided last minute to try Cactus Club Cafe—apparently, this location faces the sunset directly. But since it was a Saturday night, all reservations were fully booked by dinnertime. For walk-ins, they don’t take names—you have to physically wait in line. We arrived around 7 PM and were told the wait would be 1.5 hours. With a stroller and no real hunger yet, we passed and took a stroll along English Bay Beach instead. The seaside walk was so beautiful and relaxing—live music, gentle waves, golden hour vibes. 😌 By 8:30 PM, after catching the full sunset, we saw people still waiting in line. We almost gave up but decided to try again—this time, we got seated after just 10-15 minutes! And wow, totally worth it! What we ordered: 🍹 Blood N Blanco Cocktail – Sweetened with orange juice, so smooth it barely tastes like alcohol! 🌮 Fish Tacos – Crispy and fresh. 🍗 Truffle Parmesan Chicken – Tender and flavorful. 🥩 Mushroom Striploin – Juicy and perfectly cooked. Everything was fantastic! (Pro tip: Their online menu has photos of every dish—super helpful!) We sat down around 9 PM and still caught the last hints of twilight. After 9 PM, they switch to Happy Hour—great deals! Even at 10 PM, people were still coming in. Definitely a spot worth revisiting! 📍 Cactus Club Cafe 1790 Beach Ave, Vancouver, BC V6G 0A8 #VancouverLife #VancouverEats #VancouverFoodie #SunsetDining #BeachVibes #OceanViews
