Hiking Around Vancouver | Lindeman Lake's Enchanting Autumn Colors 🍁

With the good weather, we decided to go hiking at Lindeman Lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery πŸ‘€. It’s about a 2-hour drive from Richmond πŸš—. We completed the full Lindeman Lake Trail plus part of the Greendrop Trail, totaling 6.3 km round trip, with an elevation gain of 294 m. It took us 2 hours and 52 minutes πŸ₯Ύ. The path from the entrance to Lindeman Lake is quite manageable, with medium difficulty. It mainly consists of rocky paths and gentle uphill sections. We even saw a school group on a fall field trip πŸ‚. The trail along the lake to the opposite side was challenging, likely part of the Greendrop section, which is hard difficulty. Some sections were so rocky that we had to use both our hands and feet (yet another reminder of my short legs πŸ€”). Along the way, we passed by a discreet 🐝 beehive. A cute little boy stood at a distance, asking if there was a lunch bag nearby. Sure enough, I saw a blue bag left on the rocks. He was too scared to retrieve it and asked if I could help. I handed it to him, and he was so happy, thanking me multiple times ☺️. On the toughest rocky section, we encountered a father hiking with a baby on his back and another child in tow. They mentioned they had already completed the Greendrop Trail and were heading back. Impressive 🫑. On the way back, we saw several people hiking with their dogs. One white dog, who was both timid and fierce, barked at us, while the other dogs were well-mannered, calmly walking, tugging at logs by the lake, or playing in the water. There was even a dog being carried by its owner because it was too tired to walk 🐢. 🌱 Tips: 1⃣️ If you want to see vibrant autumn foliage, it’s worth hiking a bit along the lakeshore. 2⃣️ It’s recommended to wear high-top hiking boots. The trail is quite natural, with no steps, just uneven rocky paths. #Canada #LifeInCanada #VancouverSurroundings #VancouverOutdoors #Lakes #AutumnColors #Fall #Hiking #WeekendGetaway #BCProvince #VancouverHikes #MyHikingDiary #Hiking ### Address: Lindeman Lake ###
