Hiking at Gould Mesa Trail

Gould Mesa Trail is one of the many trails in Angeles National Forest, located north of Los Angeles on the southern side of the mountain. It’s quite close to NASA JPL 🚀. 🍙 At noon, I stopped by a Korean rice ball shop in Glendale to grab takeout— the shop’s name is Gam Tu Bop, and there’s no dine-in option. You have to assemble the rice balls with the seaweed yourself, but the seaweed is super crispy! The beef-filled one was a bit salty, and the unagi (eel) flavor was good, but the spicy shrimp one was by far my favorite 💕. 🅿️ Checking the location saved in my photos, I parked at Hahamongna Watershed Park. The parking lot was really spacious— I even spotted a car covered with what looked like “artificial grass”! So funny 😂. 🍽️ In the evening, we went to The Cheese Factory for dinner. Almost none of the dishes we ordered were a letdown: the pre-meal chocolate bread, Thai salad rolls, and creamy mushroom soup were all delicious. Such a satisfying end to the day 🥘! #CoffeeProject100 #CoffeeProjectLA #NorthAmericanLife
