πΈπΊ Hikoen Garden of Himeji Castle πΏπ
On the second day, I used my JR Pass to visit Himeji Castle. πΏπ Firstly, I was afraid that Osaka Castle would be too crowded, and secondly, I wanted to experience the Shinkansen. πΏπ It only takes half an hour from Osaka Station to Himeji Castle, which is super fast! Since I was staying in Namba, to avoid the hassle of navigating Osaka's public transport and save time, πΏπ I took the subway to Osaka Station and then transferred to the Shinkansen. It's basically a straightforward journey and hard to go wrong. πΈπΊ After getting off the train at Himeji, it took me at least half an hour of walking and stopping to reach the castle. Although I could see it right after exiting the station, it was really farther away than it looked. πΈπΊ I highly recommend taking a bus to the entrance to save energy. It was raining that day, so saving energy was crucial. Otherwise, you might end up soaked like me... πΈπΊ And speaking of taxis, I barely saw any, which was really frustrating. #Japan πΈπΊ
