Historic Town Tour in Virginia 2: Warrenton ποΈβ¨
We arrived in Warrenton around 12:30 PM and parked near the courthouse β°. Noticing a crowd gathering at the entrance, we learned that a court session was about to begin. Since phones were not allowed inside, we stored ours in a locker and passed through strict security to observe how a local U.S. court handles traffic and criminal casesβan unexpected highlight of our trip! βοΈβ¨ Next to the courthouse stood another building dedicated to youth and family law cases π’. In front of it was a bronze statue of John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the United States and the longest-serving in history. Americans revere him as the "Great Chief Justice" and "Judge for the Ages," recognizing him as one of the most influential architects of the Constitution. π½π¨βοΈ The town is small, clean, and peaceful π³. We discovered a shop specializing in handicrafts from Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Jamaica, Bangladesh, and other countries π. I lingered for a long time and bought some lovely itemsο½ππ§΅β¨ #VirginiaHistoricTowns #Warrenton #USCourts #Handicrafts #TravelExperiences #HiddenGems
