Hoi An, Vietnam | I Captured the Real-Life "Oriental Dreamcore" 🏮
As a freshly graduated math student from the US with a passion for travel and photography, I’m thrilled to share this magical moment with you all. 🥹 Does every Chinese person, Easterner, or anyone touched by Eastern culture hold this image in their heart? 🏮 A water town, wooden boats, upturned eaves, lanterns glowing at dusk, crowds of travelers, floating river wishes—a scene straight out of a dream. 📍 In Hoi An, Vietnam, I captured this 1,500-year-old UNESCO World Heritage town with my drone—a living "Oriental Dreamcore" brought to life. 🌍 About Hoi An Located 30km south of Da Nang, this well-preserved 15th-19th century trading port blends East-meets-West architecture. Once a major maritime hub, it’s now a slow-paced paradise for coffee sipping, coconut boat rides, and lantern-lit nights. Photography heaven: The riverside at dusk offers epic drone shots (no restrictions here!). 📸 Drone Tips ✈️ Takeoff Spot: Riverside near the old town. ⚠️ Heads Up: Some airports (e.g., Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang) ban drones—I entered via Hanoi with no issues. 🚁 Coconut Boat Bonus: Perfect for aerial footage (more shots coming soon!). #Photography #TravelPhotography #DroneLife #HoiAn #VietnamTravel
