Honolulu, Hawaii | Is This Noodle Shop Really Worth the Long Line? ββ
π Marugame Udon β Iβve attached photos of the menu at the end for reference! Located super close to Waikiki Beach, this place always had a line every time we passed by. We went around 11 AM and luckily only waited about 5 minutes! β³ Itβs set up like a cafeteria: one server dishes up the noodles, the next adds toppings, and then you grab sides on your own. Better decide what you want before joining the line! We ordered: 2 small Curry Niikutama Udon (Sweet Beef Curry Udon) 2 Crab Meat Tempura 2 Potato Croquettes 1 Tamagoyaki Tempura Hereβs my take: π Curry Niikutama Udon β $12.55 (small) ββββ One of their recommended bowls. The sweet onion and beef combo balanced well with the curry. Came with a perfectly soft-boiled egg π₯. Tasty, but honestly something I could make at home. Not worth a long wait β but decent if thereβs no line! π¦ Crab Meat Tempura β $2.50 each βββββ Huge crab stick β freshly fried, super crispy outside, tender and slightly sweet inside. Absolutely delicious! π This alone was worth the 5-minute wait. π Potato Croquette β $2.25 each ββββ Crispy outside, soft and warm inside. Lightly seasoned β very satisfying! π³ Tamagoyaki Tempura β $2.25 each βββ First time trying fried tamagoyaki! Sweet, fluffy, and oddly tasty β felt like a dessert. π 2310 Kuhio Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815 Hawaii is so much fun β canβt wait to come back! πΊβοΈ #Honolulu#HawaiianFood #MarugameUdon #FoodReview #WaikikiEats #UdonLover #MustTry
