Continued from last post~ 8️⃣ Golden Pork Tonkotsu Ramen Bar Craved ramen late at night 🍜 — ordered the top result on Uber Eats! Google rating: 4.7 👍 Tried the Spicy Red Miso Dragon — delicious flavor + thin noodles (my fave!) But portion was tiny 😢 and the meat was paper-thin. 9️⃣ Shrimp Truck 🍤 Garlic shrimp — a Hawaiian classic! No need to hunt for a specific one. This one was from a random truck near Shark Cove — pretty good! Worth trying if you pass by one. 🔟 Tori Ton Not recommended 🚫 Popular on xhs for yakitori, but every skewer was just… salty. No depth. Went at 9 PM — 80% of the menu was sold out (they close at 11). Confusing and disappointing. 1️⃣1️⃣ Aburiya Ibushi Recommended by Vicky & Dilun — saw they came twice! Generally delicious and fairly priced 💰 Skip the tofu (weird mix of Chinese minced meat + Japanese tofu — didn’t blend well) But the saury, beef tongue (❤️), grilled beef, and oxtail soup were all amazing! Didn’t try the famous oxtail porridge — didn’t want more rice 😂 1️⃣2️⃣ Lawson at Sheraton Standard oden 🍢 — tastes exactly as expected. Good breakfast option if you’re staying there. Otherwise, not worth a special trip. 1️⃣3️⃣ Restaurant Suntory Good Japanese food — but nothing special for the price 💸 Limited creative dishes. The kama meshi (claypot rice) was decent (but seasonal — might not be available). Better for a fancy vibe 🍱 1️⃣4️⃣ Jollibee Classic fried chicken 🍗 — no explanation needed! Located in Ala Moana Center food court — a bit hard to find near one exit.
