Honolulu · A Restaurant I’d Eat at a Hundred Times Over
🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷 This is a restaurant that’s bound to come up in any Honolulu food guide for Hawaii. Because of the mixed reviews, I thought about it and decided to give it a try. Maybe because my expectations weren’t too high, I was actually surprised. So, I’ll recommend it while I’m at it. Let me give you a brief introduction to what I’ve tried: “Specialty” Kurobuta Pork Loin Katsu Set + “Kurobuta” Pork Loin Katsu Curry Set 👉🏻 The “Specialty” is the famous “Premium” black pork cutlet set, served with soup and rice. You can really taste the difference with this premium selection; the meat is substantial, tender, and juicy, with a crispy breaded exterior. To balance out the fried food, there’s a salad and homemade sesame dipping sauce that pairs perfectly, making it easy to finish a whole plate of pork cutlet rice. 👉🏻 The “Kurobuta” I chose was the curry set, also served with soup and rice. The curry rice at this pork cutlet shop is so delicious that I found myself dipping my “Premium” cutlet into the curry sauce across the bowl. By the end, the plate was clean, with not a drop of curry sauce left. It was so flavorful and rich. The cutlet itself was also excellent, with a different meat quality compared to the “Premium,” but with a better price-to-quality ratio. Oh, I could go for another meal right now. #JustForTheMoments #Honolulu #Hawaii #HawaiiTravel #USATravel #EatDrinkAndBeMerry #RecordingDeliciousMomentsOnTheRoad #Waikiki
