Honolulu Food Round 2 | What I ate during my quick trip 🍍✈️
Four days was just NOT enough 😭 1️⃣2️⃣ Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store A total surprise – way beyond expectations! Great food, chill vibe 🌴, huge portions – loved everything!! Must-orders: 🍝 Shrimp & crab pasta 🥩 Filet mignon salad (THE BEST beef I’ve ever had in a salad!!) 🍖 Baby back pork ribs 🍤 Coconut shrimp 🦑 Calamari (on the seasonal menu – super plump and perfectly cooked) No idea why this place isn’t packed every night—it’s a hidden gem 💎 3️⃣ Blue Water Shrimp Co. Food Truck’s Pineapple Located right across the pineapple farm 🍍 You pick your own – $3 each. ➕$2 if you want it cut. The owner said the more golden ones are sweeter… and he was SO right! 😋 4️⃣ GOOFY Cafe & Dine Known for having the “best loco moco?” – and yes, it’s legit delicious 🍛 Fresh juices are amazing too 🧃 We couldn’t get a reservation but walked in. Only 5 parties ahead of us – waited just over 10 mins. Quick turnover! 5️⃣6️⃣ Honolulu Skewer House Took my Northeastern Chinese friend for some Dongbei-style skewers 😆 DDDD – way better than most Bay Area BBQ spots 🍢🔥 7️⃣ Kualoa Coconut Man A fruit stand we passed during our island drive 🚗💨 Pineapple wasn’t as good as the food truck one, but the papaya was SO sweet!! 🥭 8️⃣ Yummy Huli Huli Chicken Pretty tasty! Actually better WITHOUT the sauce lol Not sure how it compares to other huli huli spots though 🍗 9️⃣ ⚠️ AVOID this coconut drink stand!! 🥥💣 Paradise Island Fresh Fruits and Drinks (downstairs at Laylow) Overpriced, not fresh, and you can’t even pick your own coconut. They gave me a spoiled one first – had to run all the way back from the hotel to exchange it 😤 Overall… I’d go back to Hawaii 1,000,000 times!!! 🌺🤙 #Hawaii #HawaiianFood #OahuEats #TravelHawaii #FoodDiary #IslandVibes #FoodieRecommendations #HawaiianBBQ#Honolulu
