Honolulu restruant recommendation
📍 Ramen Nakamura 🍜No reservations or takeout, with a capacity for about 18 people inside, and a 40-minute wait. 👉Ox Tail Ramen The oxtail broth is bright and slightly oily, with plenty of meat on the oxtail. It's delicious when eaten with ginger and soy sauce, but the noodles are on the firm side. 👉Tomota Ramen The tomato flavor is incredibly rich, and with the melted, stringy cheese that resembles egg drop, it feels like eating a tomato-based noodle dish. 👉Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen The tonkotsu broth is rich and thick, but not overly oily. ———💖——— 📍 Ginza Bairin Tonkatsu & Yoshoku Bistro 🍛The set meal includes unlimited refills for soup, salad, and rice. 👉Kurobuta Pork Loin Katsu Prefers the thick-cut fried pork loin with a hint of fat, and the addition of sesame to the pork cutlet sauce is a delight. The baked white sesame seeds emit a fragrant aroma when ground, making it delicious even when mixed with rice. 👉Omurice (Not described, but typically a Japanese dish of omelette filled with rice, often with a sauce.) ———💖——— 📍 Island Vintage Wine Bar 🥯Less crowded than the neighboring Island Vintage Coffee, with the same menu, just in a location not facing the main street. There's a Waitlist Code at the entrance, so you can go take photos and join the Waitlist early on another day to save time waiting in line. Braised Beef Loco Moco with tender braised beef short ribs is highly recommended. The Açaí Bowl base is the same, and other dishes are fairly standard. Unfortunately, there were no Bagels available during the visit. #Ramen Nakamura#Island Vintage Wine Bar#Ginza Bairin Tonkatsu & Yoshoku Bistro# Honolulu
