Honolulu Shopping Mini-Guide: "Since Weโre Here Already" Edition ๐๏ธ๐บ
Sharing some shopping highlights from my trip to Honolulu โ because why not spread the aloha spirit? โจ This yearโs shopping budget? Officially blown. But heyโฆ we came all this way! ๐ On day one, I dashed into ABC Store and snagged the black-face Hello Kitty ๐ฑ. My partner really wanted a Pochacco, thoughโฆ so we launched what we dramatically called "Operation Rescue Pochacco" ๐ถโ โ visiting over 10 ABC Stores daily. After 6 days, still no Pochacco. ๐ญ We also went to the Dole Plantation for limited-edition Kitty merch but only found the Dress Trio sisters ๐๐ญ๐ญ. Thankfully, a kind sister helped me grab four later โ a bit pricey, but mission accomplished! ๐ ๐ Keep your ABC receipts!! On the last day, we validated them and got a FREE tote bag + mug. The tote is the same one they sell in-store โ score! ๐โ We hit the main shopping street on day one. Good deals everywhere! Totes had 10% off + 4.75% tax ๐งข โ ended up $100+ cheaper than mainland (pre-tax). Seasonal styles were even better โ a white corduroy tote was only $1,800 before tax. ๐ Stussy: Short wait to get in. Small store but well-stocked. Tee sizes were limited โ you have to ask for specific sizes. Copped a cap ๐ โ fits great even for big-head gang! ๐ Crocs: They had a โBuy 1, Get 1 50% Offโ deal. Got two platform pairs โ who can resist DIY jibbitz? Lots of Hawaii-exclusive charms. Also found limited charms at Musubi Cafe and Dole Plantation! Keep an eye out ๐ โจ Bought these at Ala Moana Center โ been eyeing them for a while. Pre-tax, they were $100 cheaper than mainland. Sweet deal! ๐ธ Almost every brand here offers "Hawaiian Pricing" โ except Chanel and Hermรจs. ๐ Chanel: Well-stocked (popular items available), but prices werenโt great. All in all โ got almost everything I wanted! Now heading back to LA and challenging myself to live on $2,000 for a monthโฆ ๐โโ๏ธ๐ธ #HawaiiShopping #Honolulu #WhatIBoughtToday ๐๐ด
