Hoppy Homecoming Brew Tour 1 -- Able Baker Brewing 🍻
My 2025 "Hoppy Homecoming" tour has officially begun! This year, I kicked it off in Las Vegas, where I met up with a long-lost friend and visited the city’s top craft brewery — Able Baker, the 147th brewery in the U.S.! We started with a Triple Hazy IPA — “Massive Energy Duck” 🦆🍊 Poured into the glass, it showed a slightly deep hue with a creamy, dense foam. The aroma? Strong, pungent, and boldly hoppy! On the palate — a hint of tang, followed by notes of green pepper and orange. The body was full and rich, yet the alcohol was surprisingly well-hidden for a triple. Super drinkable! Next, we tried a small pour of their Stout ☕️ It had a slight tartness but went down easy, with a touch of soy sauce-like umami flavor. Don’t be fooled, though — this stout packs a 13% ABV! 🚨 Two beers in, and I was already feeling the vibe… had to stop there or I wouldn’t make it back to the hotel! 😅 Back at the hotel, I cracked open a can of Massive Energy Duck. The canned version felt lighter and fresher, with an added spicy, peppery kick from the hops. 🌶️ What a great first night — scoring a solid hazy IPA right off the bat. Able Baker totally lives up to its reputation as Vegas’ #1 craft brewery! 🙌 #CraftBeer #BeerLife #HazyIPA #AbleBakerBrewing #VegasBrews #Microbrewery #BeerTour #HoppyTimes
