🏨 Hotels Mokara Hotel & Spa A relatively newer hotel. We stayed in a balcony room (though the view wasn’t special). The hotel restaurant, Ostra Restaurant, focuses on seafood — we had brunch there to avoid driving back and forth. A Malaysian server even treated us to two cups of hand-brewed coffee 👍. Located right along the River Walk, it’s a 5-minute walk to the light show The Saga at the church. The hotel entrance is also a boat tour pickup point. Valet parking only, around $60. The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio An older but elegant hotel compared to the first. We stayed in a Junior Suite. The lobby is beautiful. The restaurant Gallery on the Park serves American-style brunch (service was slow). They also have Anacacho Coffee & Cantina, a small Western retro-style lounge serving Mexican fusion cuisine. Valet parking only, around $60. 🅿️ Parking Recommendations Better to use San Antonio city parking garages: Houston Street Garage St. Mary’s Garage These two are close to each other and within walking distance to the River Walk and the hotels mentioned above. Only $10/night, and FREE on Tuesdays & holidays!
