How can you visit Paris without trying wine? 🍷

🍽️Ardent is a somewhat niche restaurant, with just a few hundred reviews on Google Maps, but it boasts a solid 4.6 rating. The cuisine is modern French, not quite traditional, with a focus on grilled main courses and even some Asian ingredients and cooking techniques mixed in. But the highlight of this meal, undoubtedly, is the orange wine. 🍊 🍴 Tigre qui pleure / Radis marinés / Livèche 14,00€ The appetizer, inspired by Thai cuisine, is called "Crying Tiger," with slices of beef atop a bed of carrot shreds and other accompaniments. The olive oil dressing is perfect for dipping bread. By the way, their pre-meal bread is exceptionally delicious!! I had two plates!! After expressing my delight to the staff, the waiter enthusiastically found the baker's Instagram account for me. 🍴 Maigre de ligne / Haricots verts de Provence grillés / Nectarines jaunes / Padrón / Bagna Cauda 30,00€ My main course was fish, served with grilled beans, grilled jalapeño, and grilled yellow peaches! Quite unique, the fish was quite tasty, though predictably so. 🍴 Poitrine de cochon confite à la sauce hoisin / Eryngii grillé / Pakchoï 26,00€ My sister's main course was pork, essentially crispy roast belly! This was delicious! It's hard to mess up grilled pork belly. The side dishes were very Chinese-style, with two small green vegetables and pleurotus eryngii mushrooms, sprinkled with scallions. The grilled green vegetables, however, were not as good as stir-fried ones. 🍷 Orange wine, forgot the price,9,00€ My cousin highly recommended this European wine category, which I hadn't seen much of in the US. It was really good! I've never been able to appreciate the taste of wine, but this was delightful! Served chilled, it was smooth and fragrant, not too sour or sweet, very balanced. The aroma filling your nasal cavity after a sip was fantastic! This was the highlight of the meal, and I recommend friends who haven't tried it to give it a go! Paris indeed has better-tasting wines. 🍴Average cost: This place is relatively expensive in Paris, with an average of 40 euros per person, but that's a common average in the US, and there's no need to leave a tip in Paris, so it's actually quite reasonable! The ambiance is great, the presentation is very appealing, the dishes are innovative, and the menu is at the end~ #FoodDaily #FrenchLife #ParisLife #Paris #ParisRestaurants #ParisFrenchCuisine
