Huge Portions & Bold Peruvian Flavors! đđ”đȘ
It was my first time trying Peruvian foodâand what an introduction! The atmosphere and decor here are vibrant and inviting, filled with colorful textiles, warm lighting, and a sense of energy that makes you excited to explore the menu. We started with the Perucho Tasting Appetizer, which included beef heartâmy first time trying it, and it was surprisingly tender and full of flavor! Everything on the platter was delicious and well-seasoned. When it comes to mains and sides, the portions are seriously generous. We had leftovers for three full daysâincluding the Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice), which kept wonderfully! Hereâs what we ordered: Pollo a la Brasa (Mama Juanitaâs Chicken) đ â Juicy, smoky, and perfectly spiced. Maduros đ â Sweet, caramelized plantains. Avocado Salad đ„ â Fresh and creamy. Tostones â Crispy and good, but a bit bland for our taste. Aji de Gallina đ„ â Creamy, comforting, and full of subtle heat. For dessert, we tried the Chocolate Cake â it was okay, not the star of the meal, but a decent finish. The vibe here is lively and welcoming, the food is largely delicious, and the portions are almost overwhelmingly big! The only letdown was our server, who wasnât the friendliestâbut that didnât ruin the experience. If youâre new to Peruvian cuisine or already a fan, this spot offers great value and a fun, flavorful meal. #PeruvianFood #BigPortions #FirstTimeTrying #LeftoversForDays #ArrozChaufa #LivelyVibes
