Hyères | Hidden Gem of an Art Museum on a Southern French Island

Villa Carmignac was an unexpected delight during my vacation in Hyères. 🌴 The museum is perched on the hillside of the island of Porquerolles, offering breathtaking views. It’s divided into an indoor exhibition area and an outdoor garden. 🏖️ I was initially drawn by the picture of a "pool" on Google Maps (I really thought it was a pool before visiting), but it turned out to be an art installation. It showcases the stunning light effects refracted through water ripples. Absolutely mesmerizing! 💫 The Villa Carmignac attracts many visitors, so I recommend making a reservation in advance if you plan to go. You won’t be disappointed!
