Hyde Park | The Perfect Spring Flower Route 🌸

🟡 Enter from Hyde Park Playground, where you’ll see a vast field of daffodils. It reminds me of the movie 🎬 *The Holiday* (2006) when the male lead brings a field of blooming daffodils to surprise the female lead when she returns to the UK. He turns the garden into a golden, romantic sea of flowers. (Perfect for couples on a date! 😍) 🔵 Head towards The Serpentine Lake, find a bench, and watch the swans 🦢 that Queen Victoria 👑 once fed, along with ducks and other waterbirds. They’re not afraid of people—some laze on the shore, some dive in the lake, and some stroll on the path. You can 🧘‍♀️ soak up the sun while enjoying the beautiful birds. 🟣 Continue on The Flower Walk 🌸, where you’ll see crocuses in various colors. Their stigmas are the precious saffron (it took some self-restraint not to sneak a strand). There are also purple marguerite daisies. 🔵 Reach the Albert Memorial, a Gothic Revival shrine costing £120,000 (equivalent to around £10 million in 2010). It’s truly magnificent and beautiful. 🔴 Walk towards the Peter Pan statue, where you’ll see many couples taking photos 📸. Finally, arrive at the Italian Garden, a gift from Prince Albert to his beloved Queen Victoria. It features symmetrical fountains, flower beds, and geometric ponds. It’s perfect for sunbathing ☀️. #UK #MyDailyLife #SpringFlowerViewing #London #LifeInLondon #UKLiving
