I’m Declaring It: Been to Jeju, and I’ll Definitely Go Again!🐬

Jeju is my top pick for international trips—and the biggest reason is its visa-free policy! You can pack your bags and go on a total whim. 💬 Language: No Communication Worries Nearly all shops, hotels, and restaurants in Jeju have staff who speak “broken Chinese”—no need to stress if your English is rusty. Trust me, the locals’ English is even worse, haha!🐬 ✅ Pre-Trip Prep Checklist KRW Cash Exchange: I exchanged some won at ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) before leaving—it had a better rate than withdrawing cash from Korean ATMs later. Most places in Jeju accept Alipay/WeChat, so you don’t need to carry a ton of cash. Phone Card: Buy a Korean data SIM card on Taobao in advance. Just insert it once you land at Jeju Airport, set your phone to LTE, and turn on roaming—it works instantly. Must-Have Apps: Navigation: Use KakaoMap—Baidu Maps or Amap are terrible in Jeju.🐠 Translation: Papago (super accurate for Korean-Chinese translation, perfect for menus or questions). 🗓 My Itinerary: Toured All 4 Directions (But Didn’t Hit Every Spot) I traveled only by bus and took my time—so I missed some attractions, but I got my fill of the “jelly sea”! Day 1: Landed at noon → Hyeopjae Beach → Back to downtown Jeju Day 2: Hyeopjae Beach → Aewol-eup→ Bokjeong-ro Day 3: Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak → Udo Island Back to downtown Day 4: Jeju Live-Fire Shooting Range→ Jusangjeolli Cliff → Seogwipo Olle Market → Jeongbang Waterfall → Back to downtown Jeju 📌 Extra Tips You’ll Need🌲 Haenyeo Bibimbap at Hyeopjae Beach: If you want to try the famous haenyeo (female diver) bibimbap here, arrive before 3 PM! I got there too late and missed out—total regret.🌲 Trash Cans Are Hard to Find: Looking for a trash can on the street is harder than finding money—carry a small trash bag with you. Bus Payment Without a T-Money Card: You can tap Alipay/WeChat on buses if you don’t want to buy a T-Money card—just note that free transfers won’t apply. Tax Refunds: Many shops offer tax refunds when you spend a certain amount. Some refund cash on the spot; others require you to claim it at the airport (lines are long—arrive early to avoid missing your flight!).🥑 Live-Fire Shooting Is a Must: Seriously, don’t skip the shooting experience! It’s thrilling and totally worth trying if you get the chance. #JejuIsland #JejuItineraryShare #JejuGuide
