I’ve Found My Favorite Restaurant in Vienna (No Exceptions)! 🥰
Cucina Itameshi is simply amazing—a true masterpiece of Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine! I couldn’t resist sharing this post. Every dish is a delight, and you can’t go wrong with any choice! Here’s what we had last night: ▪️ Appetizers: 🥩 Wagyu Beef Carpaccio - The wasabi sauce is the star of the dish. 🍋 Grilled Squid - Enhanced with yuzu juice and fennel, it’s refreshing and tangy, perfect for whetting the appetite. ▪️ Main Courses: 🍜 Japanese-Style Dipping Noodles - Made with Japanese ramen noodles, the shrimp-flavored sauce is not fishy at all and includes fresh sweet shrimp. 🧀 Cheese and Pepper Udon - Using Japanese udon noodles, this dish is so rich and creamy that you’ll want to lick the plate! ▪️ Main Dish: 🐟 Grilled Fish - Prepared with XO sauce, it has a hint of Cantonese flavor. ▪️ Dessert: ☁️ Tiramisu - A taste of Italy! The portion is huge, indulgent, and blissful. The only downside of this restaurant is that it’s extremely difficult to get a reservation! Especially for dinner, you basically need to book two months in advance through their website. Since yesterday was my husband’s birthday, I had been waiting for two months to secure a table as soon as the website opened. In terms of ambiance, the indoor seating is more atmospheric, while the outdoor area is quite ordinary. If possible, try to book an indoor table. The restaurant was quite busy last night, so I didn’t feel comfortable taking photos during the meal and only managed to snap a few quickly before we left. In addition to Vienna, there’s also a branch in Zurich, so my Swiss friends can give it a try as well! #AtmosphericRestaurant #HiddenGem #MustVisitRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendation #ViennaLife #RomanticRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodieDaily #ItalianJapaneseCuisine #RestaurantReview
