I'm sorry for constantly referring to you as a "culinary desert."
It turns out I just hadn't found the right restaurants. Today, I stumbled upon a small shop with a sign that read "Since 1913." A century-old place—I had to give it a try.🤔️ Bruschetta: Instead of the usual hard bread, it was made with fried corn tortillas. The outside was crispy while the inside was moist, with a hint of the corn's natural sweetness. It was far from dry or choking. Both the ragù and porcini mushroom versions were delicious. ❤️❤️❤️ Lasagna: The lasagna was interestingly green, made with spinach juice. Maybe it was the color, but I tasted a hint of matcha. Normally, I find lasagna a bit too rich, but the cheese here was fragrant without being overwhelming. The seasoning was a bit light for my taste.😻😻😻 Wild Boar Tagliatelle: This dish was amazing! I always order it when I'm in Florence, and this place had the largest chunks of meat I've seen. The wide noodles were handmade, with a good chew (not undercooked!). The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, with noticeable chunks of tomato—it was clear they made the sauce from scratch. Perfect!💕💕💕 Steak: I ordered the first steak on the menu, medium-rare. Their steak wasn't as red as others I've had, which I don't quite understand, but it was incredibly tender and juicy. Even though I was full from the pasta, the steak was so good that I finished it all. Price: For two people, we spent only 62€! That's really affordable. This place is always packed, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. Many people ordered the raw beef, which looked very appetizing, but I don't eat raw meat, so I skipped it. You should definitely give it a try. This is definitely a hidden gem that I'll keep in my favorites and visit again! #ItalyTravel #CulinaryDesert #MyFoodDiary #HiddenGemRestaurant #Italy #Florence
