I've developed a real affection for the Indian restaurants in Florence
📍I've always had a somewhat negative impression of Indian cuisine, so I never tried it. But every time I passed by this restaurant in the Chinatown area, I saw it packed with people, which made me finally decide to give it a try. ✨When I first walked in, I was a bit nervous, so I quickly checked the Google rating. Seeing the 4.8 score, I thought it couldn't be bad. Based on the recommendations, we ordered Butter Chicken, Gosht Do Pyaza, Garlic Cheese Naan, Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice, and Jhinga Pakora. Here’s a quick rundown of what we had: ✨- Chicken Madras Curry : A type of butter chicken with Madras sauce, which seems to be a special kind of spice. It's a bit spicy with flavors of ginger, onion, and black pepper. It's quite complex. (There are many variations of butter chicken, some sweet, some spicy, and even some with mint.) ✨- Gosht Do Pyaza : Lamb cooked with onions and special spices. It's mildly spicy and has no gamey flavor. - Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice : Not recommended. It was a bit dry. - Jhinga Pakora : Chickpea flour-coated fried shrimp. I didn't really taste the chickpeas; it was mostly just salty. ✨Summary: The service was a bit slow, but they did offer a small appetizer. Overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend dishes that come with a curry sauce to pair with the naan.
