🍝 I Could Have Been in Florence or Naples! 🍝

☀️ On a bright, sunny day when I was craving a genuine Italian lunch and a cool drink, I discovered Isola Restaurant in St Christopher’s Place — just behind Oxford Street, London. Let me tell something: this place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a little Italian escape right in the heart of the city! 🏙️➡️🇮🇹 St Christopher’s Place is a small but stunning hidden square — a true oasis of calm and beauty that I’d strongly recommend to every visitor (or even local!) looking for a charming spot away from the crowds. 🌿🧡 What first caught my eye was Isola’s inviting outdoor seating decorated with lush plants and those lovely big yellow awnings — so stylish and perfect for a sunny day! 🪴💛 But the real magic began the moment I stepped in. The staff were nothing short of exceptional — from the kind young lady who greeted me, to the super-friendly guy behind the bar (shout-out to the awesome Nepali gentleman! 🙏), and especially my waiter Giovanni from Naples 🕺🍕. The service was smooth, warm, and incredibly efficient — I was seated quickly, handed the menu, and served my ice-cold Peroni beer and food without any unnecessary waiting. ⏱️✨ Now let’s talk about the food — because wow! 🍕 I ordered the Quattro Stagioni Pizza — perfectly thin crust, rich tomato sauce, fresh toppings… each slice was pure delight! 🥑 Alongside it, I had a fresh tomato and avocado salad — so light and flavorful. 🍺 And my all-time favorite drink with Italian food — a chilled Peroni Nastro Azzurro — crisp, refreshing, just perfect! And then… dessert happened. 🍰 Giovanni kindly suggested I try their classic Tiramisu — and am I glad I did! Creamy, coffee-infused, melt-in-the-mouth goodness. Absolute perfection! Giovanni didn’t just serve me — he shared stories of Italy, made me feel like a welcomed friend, and turned a simple lunch into a cultural and culinary journey. 🗣️❤️ To wrap it up: ✅ Incredible authentic Italian food ✅ Warm, professional, and personal service ✅ Beautiful and cozy setting ✅ Fairly priced for the quality and location ✅ Feels like a mini-holiday to Italy I’ll definitely be back and will recommend Isola to everyone — whether you're a tourist exploring London or a local in search of a true Italian gem! Grazie mille, Isola e Giovanni — ci vediamo presto! 🤗🍋 #IsolaRestaurant #ItalianInLondon #HiddenGem #StChristophersPlace #AuthenticItalian
