I Declare: Old-Money White People Food Reigns Supreme
Salt Lake City — a place with a high concentration of affluent white culture — is truly the kingdom of classic upscale "white people" cuisine. Here are two restaurants that’ll make you say “wow” when you walk in, and another “wow” when the food arrives. Stunning views you’ve never seen before, and delicious dishes to match. I recommend these to everyone — they’re my absolute favorites! ❤️ 1️⃣ Log Haven Went for a friend’s birthday. Drove deep into the mountains, lost cell service, and then — nestled on a snowy mountainside — appeared this cozy, romantic cabin. Inside, a fireplace glowed. Enjoying yak steak while soaking in the view made me feel like a carefree white girl living her best life. They serve unique dishes like Bison Steak, Elk Steak, Duck Breast — all delightful surprises for the palate. Ask your server for recommendations or just order blindly. In a magical cabin like this, you deserve a little adventure! 2️⃣ La Caille A restaurant straight out of a fairytale. We went for brunch. Driving through the gorgeous gate, we were greeted by beautiful peacocks 🦚 — what a surprise! The valet guys were handsome too 😉 Inside, it felt like a countryside manor or Snow White’s secluded cottage. The back garden had white swans 🦢 and grapevines 🍇. Sit outside if you can! The brunch was exceptional — delicious, beautiful, and super photogenic. How does such a perfect place even exist? (The entrance is also great for photos!) #FineDining #RestaurantRecommendation #UniqueCuisine #VibeDining #RestaurantsIWontForget
