I had a life-changing steak for just €20.
📍 Ristorante Buca Niccolini Via Ricasoli, 5, 50122 Firenze FI I found a great place for a solo steak dinner in Florence. The 250g steak for €20 is quite a good value! I ordered it medium-rare, and the cooking was perfect. Although it looked a bit rare, it wasn't gamey at all. The meat had just the right amount of fat and sinew, giving it a unique flavor that reminded me of the salted beef tendons I had in Xi'an—savory and slightly chewy. Each bite was full of layers, not greasy or dry, and very aromatic! It was a perfect match!😍😍😍 Their lasagna and pizza 🍕 were also excellent! The normal cover charge is €2 per person. The restaurant is always packed during meal times, and it's very popular. Highly recommended!😻😻😻 In Florence, I was craving lobster 🦞 pasta and seafood risotto, so I did a lot of searching and found this century-old steakhouse. The most famous items here aren't lobster pasta but various types of steak. As soon as you enter, there are huge wall coolers on either side displaying all kinds of steak. I even spotted Japanese Kobe beef! Almost every table orders the 1500g super thick ribeye steak. You can choose the type of steak yourself or let the waiter recommend one. Since I wanted to try both pasta and rice, I just ordered the basic version of the small ribeye. #WineAndDine #Italy #StudyingInItaly #Wine #Steak #FlorentineSteak #Foodie #Florence
