I hereby declare Cologne's Saman Restaurant as my one and only love!

📍 Located across the river from the old town, it's about an 8-minute walk from the Lanxess Arena. 📅 Make sure to make a reservation online before you go!!! 🥘 Check Google Maps for their business hours! (They love to take holidays) I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best food I've ever eaten in my life! The atmosphere and ambiance are fantastic. The staff are the friendliest and most enthusiastic. During my short stay in Cologne, I've been here twice :) I had Soltanie and Adana Kebab while I was there. I loved the way the lamb was cooked and seasoned! The meat was juicy and delicious, with just the right amount of fat. The saffron rice was fragrant. The portions were huge. The appetizers are not to be missed, they're super tasty, and you could be full just from them. The huge, freshly baked naan bread was crispy and delicious. You can truly taste the perfect balance of all the ingredients. The hummus was the best I've ever had. The taste of the chickpeas was very pure. I'll definitely miss this restaurant before my next visit.
