Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

🍴 I sure know how to pick restaurants!

Here’s my New Mexico food journey — from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and beyond 🌵👌 Day 1 – Albuquerque Went for the famous ribs, but all I could taste was the heat—super spicy 🌶️! The meat fell off the bone but was slightly overcooked and not as tender as I hoped. The real star? The sopapilla! 🍯 Warm, hollow, fluffy inside, crispy outside, with a buttery aroma. I asked if I could buy three—the waiter generously gave me four on the house with extra honey. Now THAT’s service New York can’t match! 😏 ✅ Great vibe & service | ❌ Overhyped ribs Day 2 – Santa Fe Picked my own spot: Mariscos Costa Azul 🦐 1️⃣ Molcajete Del Rey: A chilled seafood mix (shrimp, scallops, squid, fish). Everything was delicious, though the fish was a bit too tangy for me. Perfect for sour-flavor lovers! 2️⃣ Flan: A classic custard—creamy, smooth, and perfectly made. 😍 Already planning my return... Day 3 – Post-Hiking Feast Came back STARVING after hiking Bandelier 🥾 1️⃣ Discada Mar y Tierra: Sizzling platter with beef, shrimp, and bacon + tortillas. Felt like a Mexican-style dry pot! 🌯 ⚠️ Watch out for the jalapeño—looked innocent but set my mouth on fire! 🔥 2️⃣ Agua de Horchata: Famous Mexican rice drink with cinnamon—sweet, creamy, and lifesaving after that pepper! I’d order the whole menu if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 🙌 Day 4 – Back in Albuquerque Lindo Mexico – so popular there was a line! Ordered Filetes de Pescado: grilled fish in foil with broth 🐟🧡 So flavorful…but I was still hungry after 😅 Day 5 – Las Cruces Stopped at Si Señor on the way to Tucson Finally tried enchiladas – authentic, cheesy, and totally worth the wait! 🌯🧀 New Mexico, you surprised me with your flavors, heat, and heart 💖 Can’t wait to eat my way through here again! #NewMexico #NewMexicoFood #EatLikeALocal #FoodieDiary #MexicanFood #SantaFeEats #ABQFood #TravelAndEat 🌮✨
