I thought 🇭🇷Dubrovnik was beautiful enough until I visited Split.
Departing from 🇭🇷Dubrovnik and winding north along the Adriatic Highway, I arrived in "Split. ✅ Recommended photo spots in Split: 1️⃣ Marjan Hill Viewpoint: 🌆 Overlook the entire city of Split and its harbor. This is also known as Cat’s Park, with plenty of cats roaming around. 🍴 There’s a restaurant next to the viewpoint—reservations are required, especially for window seats! 2️⃣ Bell Tower (Cathedral of Saint Domnius Bell Tower): 🌊 Enjoy a panoramic view of the red-roofed old town and the port. 🎫 Ticket: €7 for adults, €3.5 for students. The staircase is narrow and only fits one person at a time, so avoid carrying large bags! 3️⃣ Diocletian's Cellars: 🛕 Mysterious underground passages with arched brick walls and striking light contrasts. 🌞 Best visited at noon when it’s less crowded and the lighting is ideal! 4️⃣ Riva Waterfront Promenade: 🏖️ Palm trees, boats, sunsets, and vibrant street life. 🌅 Perfect for golden hour when the sunlight bathes the promenade! ✅ Restaurant recommendations: 🦞 Split is much more affordable than Dubrovnik, so feel free to indulge in seafood! 1️⃣ Muma Food & Bar: I tried the fried seafood and shrimp soup—generous portions and delicious. 2️⃣ Chinese Food - Joker: Who would’ve thought I’d enjoy Chinese food in Croatia? And it’s budget-friendly—most dishes under €10! #Croatia #Dubrovnik #Split #AdriaticSea
