I went to this place just for the cat-themed shuin (blessing seal)! 🐱

This Kyushu trip was a full-on road adventure, and I didn’t plan the route well, so it was a bit winding. 🚗 🌊🎢 After picking up my rental car from Oita Airport (I booked with Times over a month in advance), my first stop was to get a cat-themed shuin. Location: Fukura Tenmangu Shrine (Usuki City, Oita Prefecture). It took an hour and a half to drive from Oita Airport, passing by Beppu Port, to get there. 🌊🎢 The cat shuin was super cute (see P2)! I also bought the wooden shuin book and shuin book strap from P1, and drew a small fortune. I spent a total of 7,000 yen here! 💸 The nearest train station is probably Usuki Station, famous for its iconic “Usuki❤️” sign. 🌊🎢 We didn’t stop to check it out since we were driving, but I heard they have a special cat-themed shuin on February 22nd—Cat Day.
