I visited Smith & Wollensky for the first time this weekend, after my husband had been raving about it for ages. But even his glowing praise didn’t fully prepare me for just how incredible it would be! 😍🍷 The restaurant itself is beautiful – themed with the kind of old-school charm that transports you right back to the Roaring Twenties. Think dark wood, soft lighting, and an atmosphere that’s both elegant and timeless. And it was absolutely spotless! 🕰️✨ The service was outstanding – a special shout-out to Thomas, who took our large order without writing down a single thing and recited everything back perfectly. Every dish arrived exactly as requested – now that’s top-tier skill! His recommendations were spot-on, too – not about upselling, but about enhancing our experience. 🙌💁‍♂️ The food presentation was theatrical in the best way – scallops and ribs as shared starters were absolutely divine. We took the beef advice and went for the Châteaubriand and another premium cut, with sides including delicious hash browns, creamed spinach, onion rings, and potatoes.
