📍 Lystigarðurinn, Eyrarlandsvegur 30, 600 Akureyri In a nutshell: A café with stunning views next to Akureyri’s botanical garden—perfect for a scenic break! 🍽️ What We Ordered: 🥪 Smoked Char Sourdough Toast: Star dish! Fresh smoked Arctic char on perfectly toasted sourdough, topped with crispy fried capers and cream cheese. Every bite was chef’s kiss. 🧀 Stracciatella Sourdough Toast: Bold combo of stracciatella cheese, prosciutto, and olives—though the olive oil flavor overpowered the ham a bit. ☕ Cappuccino: Solid upgrade from hotel coffee—rich and caffeinated! 🍫 Omnon Mocha: Made with 70% dark chocolate, this mocha had a surprising fruity acidity (took a few sips to get used to!).
