Probably the most famous dish in Iceland is the lamb soup, and this place definitely serves the best lamb soup in Iceland! Whenever I go out to eat in Iceland and there’s soup on the menu, I always order the lamb soup. After trying it throughout my journey, I still believe that only theirs is the best. 🐑 Lamb Soup 🐑 This place specializes in soup, offering only lamb soup and vegetable soup. I highly, highly recommend the lamb soup. I didn’t try the vegetable soup, but the lamb soup is so good that you’ll feel it’s worth the trip. Overall, the food in Iceland is very fresh, but the lamb soup at this place is not overly salty. The balance of sweet and savory in the flavor is quite comfortable. And be sure to note, ❕ you can get free refills of the lamb soup here. We asked for more because it was so delicious, and they kindly served us another bowl. 🍞 Bread Bowl 🍞 The bread used for the bowl is very hard. By the time you finish the lamb soup, the bread bowl becomes a bit softer, making it perfect for dipping into the soup for a second serving. The only regret about this place is that we only got to eat here once and didn’t have another chance to come back.
