After a quick demo, the guide led us through thrilling routes with steep climbs, river crossings, and a photo stop at the famous plane wreck. Pro tip: ATVs are fast and windy—hand warmers are a must! ❄️ Sólheimajökull Glacier Hike Nicknamed the "Black Glacier" due to volcanic ash, Sólheimajökull feels more desolate and vast than Alaska’s Matanuska Glacier. With drizzling rain and gloomy skies, the landscape was pure post-apocalyptic drama. 🌅 Black Beach Sunset Encore Staying at Black Beach Suites (just 5-10 mins from Reynisfjara), we revisited at 9 PM for empty sands and perfect lighting.
