Ichijo Ekan Sanso ๐Ÿ”น Hidden Courtyard Teahouse for Hydrangea Viewing

Kamakura | Ichijo Ekan Sanso ๐Ÿ”น Hidden Courtyard Teahouse for Hydrangea Viewing ๐ŸŒฟ ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸEven though the hydrangea season in Kamakura is almost over,I still want to share a little-known spot for flower viewing with everyone! You can save this for next year's visit too. Ichijo Ekan Sanso ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸA nationally designated important cultural property, just a 10-minute drive from Kamakura Station. This place is only open during the hydrangea and autumn leaf seasons. It's quite obscure among foreign tourists but very popular with locals. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸThe garden is not very large, but it's beautifully landscaped with many picturesque spots. Every corner has its own charm, and there are plenty of photo opportunities. You can easily take stunning photos anywhere in the garden. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸThe teahouse inside is a Kamakura annex of the "Kyoto Nio-mon." It serves traditional Japanese sweets with matcha or hojicha (roasted tea). ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸThe treats are not only photogenic but also incredibly delicious! Enjoying tea and snacks while admiring the flowers in the garden is truly delightful. There's no advance reservation; you need to line up on-site. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸAfter writing your name on the waiting list, you can wander and take photos in the garden. I think it's definitely worth the wait! Opening Hours: 10:00โ€“15:30 ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸ Address: 5-1-10 Jomyoji, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture #LifeInJapan #JapanTravel #JapaneseGarden ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸ
