Ie Ie Japanese Cuisine: Osaka-style Okonomiyaki 🇯🇵
Yeeeei! ❤️❤️❤️ Today, I’m recommending a Japanese restaurant called “IeIe da Toshi.” We ordered Okonomiyaki (Osaka-style savory pancake), fried chicken, curry rice, and sashimi. 💕💕💕 - Osaka-style Okonomiyaki : This is probably their signature dish, and it’s really good. It’s filled with vegetables and seafood, and has a sweet and savory flavor. It’s essentially a delicious, hearty pancake. - Curry Rice : I haven’t tried many places for curry rice, but theirs is definitely on the delicious side. It includes carrots, potatoes, chicken, and a bit of onion🧅. It’s not spicy, so it’s a great choice if you’re not into heat. 😍😍😍 - Sashimi : The sashimi is not frozen, which is a big plus. It’s not very large, but the salmon and white fish are particularly tasty. The tuna was a bit fishy the more you chewed it, so it’s not my favorite. 😘😘😘 - Fried Chicken : This was a pleasant surprise. I had heard from others that their fried chicken wasn’t good, so we didn’t originally order it. But since we were still hungry, we added it, and it turned out to be really delicious. It’s crispy and makes a sound when you bite into it. The chicken pieces are juicy and boneless🦴. I’d say the must-try dishes here are the fried chicken and Okonomiyaki. Drinks: 😻😻😻 They offer Japanese beer, which I tried. A friend who knows her beer said it definitely tasted Japanese, but since I’m not much of a drinker, I couldn’t tell much of a difference. Ambiance: The place isn’t very big, but it’s not cramped. It feels like a hidden gem in an alley, with a cozy vibe. My friends said it didn’t feel very Italian, but I thought it was comfortable. The restaurant is small, and there’s an Italian grandfather working there who has a great attitude. Final Thoughts: 😍😍😍 For three of us, we ordered everything in the photo plus two Cokes, and the total was €50, averaging €17 per person. Operating Hours: 12:00-14:30, 19:00-22:30; closed on Sundays. Address: Borgo Pinti, 25r, 50121 Firenze FI (It’s a bit far from the train station.) I personally recommend it, but if you’re far away, you might not want to make a special trip. However, if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit. #Florence #FlorenceCuisine #JapaneseInFlorence #JapaneseFood #OsakaBurn #FoodieSpot #RestaurantReview #FoodDiary #FlorenceFoodie
