If I Could Only Eat One Dim Sum Place in Las Veg

I’d definitely choose “New Asian BBQ” ! 🥟✨ Long heard this iconic Cantonese spot is famous not just for its unbeatable BBQ meats, but also for outstanding dim sum. Finally got to try it on this Vegas trip! Let’s start with the Three-Combo Platter: Soy Sauce Chicken, Char Siu (BBQ Pork), and Roast Duck. While the chicken was just okay, the roast duck and char siu are easily top-tier in the U.S. for me 🏆. Especially the char siu — it has that perfect crispy edge! The caramelized, crunchy outside paired with tender meat is simply unreal. If char siu can be this good, I finally understand that classic Cantonese mom joke: “I’d rather give birth to a piece of char siu than you!” 😂🍖 As for dim sum, they still serve it the traditional way — with rolling carts 🛒! It’s so rare to see this nowadays, and it adds so much charm and nostalgia. Every item we tried was excellent: egg tarts, lava custard buns, fried shrimp dumplings… and they even have silky-smooth tofu pudding! We ordered a whole tableful, and nothing disappointed — it truly lives up to every expectation of an authentic, old-school Cantonese dim sum experience. The only downside? It’s super popular, so be prepared to wait! ⏳ 📍 5150 Spring Mountain Rd #6, Las Vegas, NV 89146 #100RestaurantsChallenge #FoodieInspiration #LasVegasFood #LasVegasEats #VegasDimSum
