This trendy restaurant in the heart of Birmingham is insanely popular—fully booked a week in advance for dinner! 🥲 And it’s my favorite kind of place: a meal and wine bar! No❗️ Maybe that’s not quite accurate—it’s lunch-Bar-Supper-club, haha. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food is genuinely delicious, especially the open-grill steak and the dishes they serve. We visited on a weekend afternoon and managed to book a table for 3 pm. 😊 When we arrived, the restaurant was almost full. For starters, we ordered three dishes: fried squid 🦑 (the batter is black, like it’s coated in squid ink, and it’s so tender—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!), crab salad with toasted bread (the buttery bread is crispy on the outside and soft and sweet inside, a perfect match for the crab salad!), and the must-order beef balls (a mix of ground beef and rich cheese, deep-fried to perfection—amazing!). Every table orders these! 🤓 Let’s talk about the main course. They specialize in steak, and there’s an entire wall at the back of the restaurant displaying different cuts. 🥩 We ordered the signature 1 kg bone-in ribeye (the smallest size available). The waiter, a super nice guy, brought the steak out for us to see and gave a detailed introduction. We also got to choose two sides and different sauces for free (including whiskey sauce and some exotic ones I’ve never seen before). If you have trouble deciding, just ask him for recommendations! This place really nails it with the music, vibe, and service! During the meal, the waiter kept checking on us, asking three times what we were celebrating. When my friend and I mentioned our graduation, we were gifted handmade sea salt chocolates (super delicious!) and two glasses of champagne. 🥂 Restaurant : Pasture, right in the city center. Three starters + a huge steak with two sides + one dessert came to £163. It’s a fantastic choice for birthdays, dates, or any celebration.
