If You're Looking for a Gluten-Free Italian Restaurant
Today, we visited Wildwood in Seven Dials after searching for a reliable gluten-free spot in the area. Nestled on a quiet street near some of London's busiest hubs like Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden, this restaurant offers a cozy and inviting escape. They also feature a pre-theatre menu and a lunch menuâperfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Whatâs more, they can adapt most of their dishes to be gluten-free, with clear labels throughout the menu. Youâll find a wide variety of options, from wood-fired pizzas and fresh pasta to grilled specialties. đđ„ The service was excellent. We were lucky to snag a table as the restaurant is quite intimate. The staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely warmâeven though we sat outside, they checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food arrived quickly and was absolutely outstandingâsome of the best Iâve had recently! Hereâs what we tried: Starter: Olives and Gluten-Free Rosemary Garlic Bread The olives were fresh and flavorful. But the garlic breadâWOW! đ It was surprisingly large (almost pizza-sized!), perfect for sharing or for someone with a big appetite. The base was soft yet crispy, richly garlicky, and perfectly oily in the best way possible. A true 10/10! Main: Chicken and Chorizo Risotto A flawless dish! The chicken was tender and juicyâsome of the best-cooked chicken Iâve ever had. The chorizo added a lovely smoky kick, and the rice was creamy, fragrant, and full of flavor. Every component came together beautifully. đđ I highly recommend Wildwood for anyoneâwhether you're gluten-free or notâlooking for delicious Italian food in a friendly and relaxed setting. Weâll definitely be back, maybe to try their gluten-free pizza or pasta next time! #WildwoodLondon #GlutenFreeItalian #SevenDialsEats #CoventGarden #FoodAllergyFriendly
