II Gusto di XINGE
XINGE seems to have previously had a takeout spot called XINGE gogo, which is very close to the current location. The restaurant has reinterpreted each dish with a fresh understanding and has a great grasp of Chinese aesthetics.🎉 Details: - 🎲 Sesame paste ice cream made with mahjong molds. - 🥢 Hairpins used as decorative cutlery. - 🚿 The wastebasket in the restroom is replaced with a large brush washer. All these details enhance the overall experience, making it a great place that combines Chinese culture and culinary excellence. Appetizers: - 🍵 A very strong soup accompanied by a foie gras mousse. The soup was a bit too salty for my taste and I couldn't finish it. The mousse, however, was delicious—refreshing and rich. - 🦴 The next dish was lychee shrimp balls hanging from a vase's branches, which was very eye-catching. They added cheese to the classic lychee shrimp balls and served them with a sweet sauce. The combination was both visually appealing and tasty. The shrimp chips with caviar are also worth trying. Main Courses: - 🥟 After listening to the chef's ideas and explanations, the dim sum made more sense and became even more anticipated. I recommend everyone to listen to the chef's introduction—it's quite interesting. - 🥣 The soup dumplings were bursting with flavor! It's hard not to love them. There were three flavors: foie gras, and sea cucumber—all bursting with juice! - 🦞 The lobster with fried pasta was a new flavor experience. The sauce was a bit tangy, which was a refreshing change. Dessert: - 🍧 I have a sweet tooth but don't like alcohol. So, the mahjong ice cream was my favorite. I didn't enjoy the cake that was soaked in alcohol—it had too strong an alcoholic taste. In summary, if you're in Florence and don't feel like having steak, pasta, or ordinary Chinese food, and you're looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere, innovative flavors, and excellent service, XINGE is definitely worth a try. #BeautifulFood #ArtAndCuisine #ArtMeetsFood #FlorenceCuisine #NoWhiteDinner #Xinge #MustTryInFlorence #ChineseRestaurantInFlorence #GoodEatsInFlorence #HiddenGemsInFlorence
