Il Chianti | Vegas Food Diary 🍝📓
Restaurant: Il Chianti Visited: July 2025, Lunch Food Rating: 6.5/10 Woke up to find a new Il Chianti in Summerlin—thought it was a new branch, but turns out they moved from Henderson! 🚗💨 🦞 Lobster Bisque (8/10): Rich and flavorful, with bouncy lobster pieces—a bit too salty for me (same issue as their lobster pasta before 🧂). Served with puff pastry—crispy on top but a bit undercooked and tough underneath. 🍝 Carbonara (6/10): A sinfully large plate—oily and creamy! Pancetta was super greasy but under-seasoned, making the whole dish lack saltiness. Parmesan was thick and crumbly with a nice crunch. So much oil, cheese, and carbs—one plate fills you up for two meals! 🥓🧀 🍖 Lamb Chop (6.5/10): Felt like being back in a school cafeteria—looked just like a sizzling pepper steak plate! Just needed some pasta on the side to complete the vibe. The lamb itself was tender and smooth as always, but each of the three chops was cooked differently 😅. The black pepper sauce was decent but not as good as the dinner appetizer version. Salad dressing was a bit too sweet. The lunch menu is small, but they might serve the dinner menu too—worth asking next time! 🤔 Flavors here can be hit or miss—generally rich, creamy, and oily. Very homestyle cooking—solid skill but inconsistent. The new location is bigger and brighter—feels nicer than the old spot. Only visited the Henderson location a few times since it was far and just okay. Now that it’s closer, might drop by more often! 🏡✨ Have you been to Il Chianti? What’s your take—agree or disagree?
