Imagine dining in a 700-year-old Gothic restaurant !
This place used to be a Gothic guild hall dating back to the 13th century, making this charming building over 700 years old! Located by the Lake Zurich, you can enjoy your meal outdoors by the lake or indoors in a Gothic-style attic. It's a historical experience 🌟 Clear Tomato Soup Recommended by the enthusiastic staff, this clear soup is made from fresh tomatoes and basil leaves, filtered to perfection. It's refreshing and bursting with tomato flavor. 🌟 Veal Sliced Zurich Style The best traditional Swiss dish I've ever had! The veal is tenderly minced and paired with mushroom sauce and Swiss potato Rösti. Locals call it Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, and it's highly recommended! 🌟 Foie Gras Served Three Ways A must-try for foie gras lovers! The three ways to enjoy it are as a pâté, pan-fried, and in a delightful combination with pistachios and chocolate. It's fresh and not at all greasy, and it's heavenly with bread. I went for lunch, so I didn't order much, and I missed out on desserts. Next time, I definitely need to revisit and secure a spot in the attic! Operating Hours: Tuesday-Saturday from 11am to 11pm. ‼️ Closed on Sundays and Mondays, so don't run empty-handed! #Switzerland #SwissRestaurant #FoodDiary #Zurich #ZurichRestaurant #SwissCuisine #ZurichFood #RestaurantRecommendation
