In Vegas, When You're with a Big Group, You Just Crave Chinese Food 🍚
After CES, my friends and I hit up Spring by China MaMa. With a large group, we ordered the "Eight Famous Dishes"—round table, full atmosphere! 🥢✨ 🦆 Peking Duck Not the cart-sliced tableside version; skin wasn’t very crispy, sadly. $38 for a portion that felt a bit small—value could be better. 🍖 Sweet & Sour Pork (Guobaorou) Certified by our Northeastern friend: legit! Good balance of sweet & sour, crispy coating. Touching to find this in the US 🇺🇸❤️. 🦆🍠 Taro Duck Generous with the taro paste! But it felt like taro > duck—I wanted more duck meat honestly. 🥩 Black Pepper Beef Tender beef with solid wok-hei 🔥 A reliable dish from the table, went great with rice. 🐟 Cod in Hot Pot Decent, nothing mind-blowing. But by US Chinese food standards—above average, safe choice. 🍽️ Overall ✔️ Props to Vegas Chinese food level ✔️ Traditional Chinese decor with private rooms & round tables 📍 4480 Paradise Rd Ste 700A, Las Vegas, NV 89169 #VegasEats #ChineseFood #GroupDining #LasVegasFood #CES2024 #ComfortFood
