Our dining journey began with a delightful cucumber salad, a compelling introduction that tantalized the palate. The impeccably crisp and vibrant cucumbers were delicately adorned with a light, tangy dressing that enhanced their natural flavors. This starter embodied simplicity and sophistication, serving as a testament to the restaurant's commitment to elevating every aspect of the dining experience.
The centerpiece of our meal was the iconic Orange Chicken, a dish that exceeded all expectations. The tender and succulent chicken was flawlessly coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that seamlessly combined sweet and tangy notes. The bright, aromatic citrus flavors harmonized beautifully with the dish's subtle heat and intricate flavors, transforming this classic into a masterful interpretation that showcased the depth and richness of Chinese culinary traditions. Spring by ChinaMaMa also offers a unique dish, the Peking Duck, prepared with a traditional recipe that has been passed down through generations, making it a must-try for any visitor.
Accompanying the Orange Chicken was the Chow Mein, an exemplary dish that epitomized the restaurant's dedication to excellence. The noodles, expertly prepared to a delightful al dente texture, were generously combined with a medley of fresh vegetables and savory meats, each bursting with distinct flavors. For our vegetarian and vegan diners, the restaurant offers a variety of plant-based options that are equally delicious. The harmonious blend of textures and the robust, umami-rich sauce made this dish stand out.

Read moreI don't normally write reviews on Google but after my TWO visits to the restaurant within one week (yes, it was that good). I had to give credit where it's due.
I want to start off by mentioning that I have been a fan since the original China Mama location on Jones and Spring Mountain. So, after finding out that they're opening a new restaurant, I had to find time to go! Upon walking into the restaurant, I was immediately drawn by the ambiance. I was greeted by the hostess immediately and provided my reservation details. Once I was seated, our waitress (cannot recall her name) came over and welcomed us. Explained the menu and informed us of the differences between their menu and the menu at China Mama at Shanghai Plaza.
We ordered to try a couple of their new dishes and boy... they did not disappoint. We had the Chef's Special Taro Duck and the Soft Fried shrimp. I've never been a fan of taro, but with my first bite, I understood why they added the thin layer of taro between the crispy outside and the duck in the center; the dish was a masterpiece!
As for the soft fried shrimp, I normally order the honey walnut shrimp, but the waitress told us that the soft fried shrimp is worth a try; similar texture, but different flavor. We were very happy to have received this recommendation. It has now become my favorite shrimp dish from the China Mama chain! The soft, but still crispy, shrimp dipped in something as simple as white pepper powder, spoke volumes! I never imagined such "simple" flavor profiles could make such a lasting impression!
Once we were done with our meal, I decided to take a look around the restaurant to take in the aesthetics. One thing I will note is that, unlike China Mama in Shanghai Plaza, they added multiple private rooms at Spring so people can go in a large group but still enjoy some privacy. So now I know where I'll be taking my large family for dinner the next time they come into town.
My overall experience was so unforgettable that I had to return for the second time within a week while ordering the SAME dishes I ordered the first time around. I strongly recommend checking out Spring by China Mama if you're looking for some of the best Chinese food Las Vegas...
Read moreDuring a recent business trip to Las Vegas, one of our colleagues graciously invited us to lunch at Spring by China Mama, accompanied by his family. Being new to the restaurant, we weren’t quite sure what to expect—but from the moment we arrived, any uncertainty quickly turned into pure delight.
We arrived right as the restaurant opened, and the staff welcomed us with exceptional warmth and attentiveness. Their hospitality was genuine, they seemed truly appreciative that we had chosen to dine with them and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Service was prompt, friendly, and perfectly timed.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Course after course arrived at our table, each dish offering a new burst of flavor and texture. From perfectly cooked noodles to delicate fish, tender chicken, savory beef, and flavorful pork, every bite showcased the kitchen’s skill and attention to detail. The rice, both steamed and fried, was the perfect complement, and the dessert provided a sweet, satisfying finish. The beverages were equally enjoyable, with both mocktails and traditional drinks prepared with care.
One feature I particularly appreciated was the availability of a private dining room. This allowed us to share our meal in a more intimate setting, free from the bustle of the main dining area, and made the experience feel like a family gathering.
Spring by China Mama is the kind of place that works beautifully for any occasion, whether it’s a celebratory meal with family and friends, a romantic dinner for two, or even a professional business lunch or dinner. The combination of exquisite food, warm service, and inviting ambiance makes it truly memorable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Spring by China Mama to anyone seeking exceptional Chinese cuisine in Las Vegas. It’s a culinary experience you won’t...
