In Vegas, Yet in Paris – Christmas Dinner at Eiffel Tower Restaurant
Due to late booking, many of our desired restaurants were fully reserved. Among the few options left was the Eiffel Tower Restaurant on the 11th floor of Paris Las Vegas—though only bar seating with a fixed Christmas menu was available. Still, better than takeout in the hotel room! 🍽️✨ 🗼 Brioche & Butter – Added for an extra $9. Served on a dedicated bread plate, but they forgot the butter knife 🧈🔪. The bread smelled amazing but tasted rather plain. 🗼 Scallops with Brown Butter – Deliciously aromatic seared scallops, served with a soft roasted leek and some greens—nice but not essential. 🗼 Foie Gras en Terrine with Fig Jam – Rich and creamy, paired with a small chicory salad to cut through the richness. Eating it with the brioche helped balance the flavor. 🗼 Mediterranean Sea Bass – The star of the night! 🐟✨ Crispy outside, tender inside, perfectly seasoned with brown butter. Served with flavorful pearl couscous—a well-rounded dish with carbs, protein, and veggies. 🗼 Beef Tenderloin (Medium Rare) with Bok Choy – A decent but unremarkable steak. As tenderloin, it lacked the richness of fat and marbling. 🗼 White Chocolate Mint Soufflé – Light, fluffy, and refreshing with a hint of mint. Not overly sweet—a delightful finish! 🍃 🗼 Eiffel Tower Crème Brûlée – Pretty presentation, but tasted like a standard crème brûlée. Overall, the experience outweighed the food. The highlight was watching the Bellagio fountain show every 30 minutes ⛲️🌆. Surprisingly, the oyster bar section—which would have offered a direct fountain view—remained closed, and only the main bar was open. A bit puzzling! 🤔 Food-wise, it was just okay. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal, you might want to consider other options. 📍 Eiffel Tower Restaurant 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 #FoodieSummerCat #MyFoodDiary #DailyEats #DateNightRestaurant #ViewDining #LasVegas
