Indiatravel guide--Varanasi
Varanasi holds the title of the "Light of India" โจ, symbolizing a place illuminated by divine radiance. It is believed to have been established by Lord Shiva ๐๏ธ 6,000 years ago. All the buildings are located on the western bank of the Ganges, while the eastern side remains completely undeveloped ๐ . From the balcony of our homestay, we could witness the perfect sunrise โ๏ธ. As the sun rises above the horizon, the entire Ganges turns a golden orange ๐, making the sunrise over the river one of the most iconic sights here. Every morning, tens of thousands of Hindusโmen and women, young and old, locals and pilgrims, along with dogs ๐ and cows ๐โwalk or take boats ๐ฃ to the banks of the Ganges. With deep devotion ๐, they step into the sacred waters, praying for the holy river to cleanse their impurities or sins ๐ง. After breakfast ๐, we went for a boat ride ๐ค on the Ganges, which we had arranged in advance through our homestay host. It was the perfect way to experience the sanctity of Indiaโs mother river ๐ฎ๐ณ๐. #India#travel guide#Varanasi#India Varanasi#India guide
