Went there for my birthday, and everything from the flavor and service to the value totally won me over. Highly recommended! 📍 Located not too far from Mama’s, on the east side of Indy — about a 15-minute drive from Keystone. The sign is low-key in a small plaza, but don’t let that fool you! The vibe inside is cozy and authentic , and it’s popular among Korean locals — always a good sign. What sets Bando apart: Real charcoal fire grilling — and they offer ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT for $34.99 per person! 🎉 The AYCE includes 5 types of meat. They serve a mixed platter first — our top pick was the Kalbi (beef short ribs) — so tender and fresh! You can reorder any meat freely. 🐟 Must-try: The Broiled Yellow Corvina — incredibly fresh and perfectly grilled! We also liked their tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) — better than Mama’s, though we were already full from the BBQ 😂. 🍶 We tried the first makgeolli (rice wine) on the drink menu — similar to Chinese láozāo but less sweet. The service was warm and helpful — our server auntie was especially kind, teaching us how to control the fire intensity (you can adjust the charcoal airflow!). 💰 Total for two (with 18% tip for BBQ service): around $100–150.
