Invercargill – A City That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked! 🌟

In Invercargill, I savored Bluff oysters 🦪 and King salmon 🐟, plus a classic English breakfast – the perfect wrap-up to this leg of the journey! 😋 Visited Queens Park, the largest park on the South Island 🍁. It was my second time here, and the autumn foliage made it even more stunning than before! We didn’t come to Invercargill just for itself—it was a must-stop on the way to Stewart Island. We only stayed one night and a day (two nights in different hotels). Still, it left a lasting impression! Restaurant Recommendations: 🍽️ Ocean Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bluff oysters (a must-try at $5 each!), King salmon, fish maw soup, and stewed vegetables were all fantastic! Black Shag ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cozy café ☕ perfect for a late start. Their onion & cheese bread was divine – great for brunch! Must-Visit Spot: 🏞️ Queens Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huge and beautiful, especially in autumn! Accommodation: Tuatara Lodge ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A backpacker’s hostel 🎒, chosen for its proximity to the InterCity bus stop. Basic facilities, shared bathroom, ~$90/night. Queens Park Motel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you can, stay here instead! (~$120/night). Better amenities and right next to Queens Park! #NatureEscapes #SunshineVibes ☀️ #TravelDiaries #Invercargill #NewZealand #BluffOysters #ProofImInMapleCountry 🍁
