🌏 Invercargill - New Zealand's Southernmost City
"Flat and vast"—that’s my first impression of Invercargill. Unlike other NZ cities, it’s uncrowded, quiet, with wide streets and few passersby. 🚶♂️🚗 Not a tourist hotspot (kinda boring tbh), but that’s what makes it authentically Kiwi. ⚠️ Skip if short on time, but worth a visit for off-the-grid explorers! 🌟 Highlights 🌅 Oreti Beach Best for sunsets, stargazing & auroras! 🌳 Queens Park Mini zoo + botanical gardens—perfect for lazy strolls. 🦚 🥧 Fat Bastard Pies Famous for pies (yum!), but coffee?… 😅 🍝 Ziff's Cafe & Bar Meh seafood chowder & pasta—go for the vibes, not the food. 📍 Stirling Point (Bluff) Iconic "World’s End" signpost + ocean views! ⛰️ Bluff Hill Lookout Panoramic views of Stewart Island (on clear days). #NZWHV #NewZealandTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #SlowTravel
