Iris💕 Following 🇨🇦 Finally found delicious "white people food" in Sudbury 😋 Sudbury is really a food desert. This is a "white people food" spot I stumbled upon by accident, and it was so good that I went again the day before yesterday. Wanted to share it with you all. 🥠 Steak & Mushroom Pie Inside, there’s tender braised beef and mushrooms, with a crispy pie crust on the outside. Served with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies to balance out the saltiness of the sauce—it’s a pretty unique dish. 🍔 Pubs Bacon Cheeseburger A beef burger loaded with toppings! The beef is juicy, and you can tell it’s homemade, not a frozen patty. 🐟 Famous Fish & Chips Huge portions of fish and chips! The fish is super tender with no fishy taste, and the batter on the outside is crispy—but it gets a bit greasy if you eat too much. 🥩 Steak Frites Steak with mushroom sauce (I really love mushrooms, haha). I ordered it medium, but it was overcooked and a bit tough. Still, the flavor was good. 🥖 Chimichurri Garlic Bread Garlic bread topped with diced tomatoes, onions, and cheese. There’s a layer of green sauce underneath—I couldn’t tell what it was, but it was delicious. It also goes well with the steak’s mushroom sauce. The bread is crispy on the outside and chewy overall—I wolfed down several pieces. 🦑 Crispy Calamari Fried squid strips—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! The batter is well-seasoned; you don’t even need the creamy dipping sauce that comes with it. 🍸 The two cocktails I ordered were also great—no misses. There’s live music in the evening, and the whole place has an American retro vibe, perfect for chatting and having a drink. Lots of locals here.
